A minor but aggravating double standard has been overturned: Verizon has waived its $35 Android tablet activation fee, retroactive to March 1st. There had been no such surcharge for iPad purchases, because honestly what is an activation fee, anyway? Other than, you know, a way to squeeze every last bit of blood from the stone that is your wallet. More »
